Michael Jackson was born in a modest African-American family on the 29th of August, , in the suburbs of Gary, Indiana in the United States of America.
He was Katherine Esther Scruse and Joseph Walter Joe Jackson’s seventh child, born after the premature death of his infant brother Brandon. Michael had eight siblings comprising of three sisters – Maureen ‘Rebbie’, La Toya and Janet and five brothers namely Toriano ‘Tito’, Sigmund ‘Jackie’, Marlon, Steven ‘Randy’ and Jermaine.
