Facts About Na Leo and Na Leo Pilimehana Group was originally called Na Leo Pilimehana Members Nalani Choy, Lehua Kalima Heine, and Angela Morales sang together in their high school glee club.
In 1984, when they were 17 year old high school seniors they entered and won an amateur music contest called "Brown Bags to Stardom".The fifty-two entries—one for each playwright—are arranged alphabetically.Their prize was a recording contract, and their first album was "Local Boys" In 1985 their "Local Boys' album won the Na Hoko Hanohano award for best single of the year. The band reformed in In 1993, and they released an album called "Friends".
